Thank you for considering volunteering your time with Loaves and Fishes. It takes many hands to make Loaves and Fishes successful. Your efforts, whether supporting the staff and board, or working with children is most appreciated. Helping children impacts them forever and giving of your time can offer you fulfillment.

We have children who are at-risk ranging in ages from K-12 who come from surrounding schools (via their teachers) and are in need of support in a variety of ways in order for them to achieve success in every area of their life.
We have a variety of opportunities to volunteer that we hope will fit your schedule.
Hands-On: Working With Our Children (K-12) Mon-Thurs 3-6 p.m.

Assist teachers with one on one or small group enrichment activities

Lead a small group in an area of special interest or hobby (yoga, art, music, Legos, robotics, gardening, etc.)

Present a special topic (dinosaurs, web design, cultural awareness, etc.)
Family Support Activities:

Assist with Family Night held once a month:
-
​Set-up (3:30 – 6:00 p.m.)

Provide and/or serve meals (3:30 – 6:30 p.m.)

Clean-up and tear-down (6:30 – 8:00 p.m.)

Program or presentations (6:30 – 7:30 p.m.)

Kids activities (6:00 – 8:00 p.m.)

Family support skills, such as:

Financial management and budgeting

Time management

Health and wellness

Job readiness training
Other Activities

Board Committees: Board Development, Gratitude Garden, Multicultural, Resource Development, and Program
