Volunteer Opportunities
Help Loaves and Fishes children succeed. (And have fun!)

We need your talents.
Loaves and Fishes volunteers come from all denominations. Find the opportunity that's right for you, complete and mail in your volunteer form, and join us.
- Tutor.
Tutor at Loaves and Fishes after school. Help students in one of four age groups with homework, school projects, reading, computer skills and more. You'll work with them one-on-one. Staff will train you and always help you address children's unique needs. Time commitment is 1-2 hours per week, Monday-Thursday.
- Assist with (or teach) an enrichment activity.
Work with staff to help, instruct or coach students of one age group during their after-school enrichment period. Activities include art, music, dance, drama and sports. Time commitment is 1-2 hours per week (Monday-Thursday).
- Give a presentation to students or parents.
Your expertise can go a long way in just one presentation or workshop. Share your experience with students during their after-school enrichment time. Or hold a workshop at a Family Night.
- Help with a day trip or community service project.
Help with an enrichment field trip, a Fun Friday outing or community service project. Commitment is flexible.
- Help with Family Nights.
Serve food and help with childcare for Family Night. Commitment is flexible.
- Provide food.
Provide food for various events, Family Night, after-school snack breaks or field trips. Commitment is flexible.
- Help with office and event coordination.
Work on mailings, research, data entry, thank-you notes and filing. You can also help with a fundraising event. Commitment is flexible.

If you are interested in helping with our after-school programs, you might work with students from any of the four age groups:
- Eager Beavers, grades K–2
- Study Buddies, grades 3–5
- Champs, grades 6–8
